Hello--thank you for stopping by. My website is pretty much a collection of what I am all about. First of all, I am a designer--Opera and ballet costumes for most of my working life, one-of-a-kind quilts since retiring from the theater. I am also an antique dealer, specializing in vintage jewelry, Asian fabrics and Persian rugs. My husband is a retired physician and a professional potter for the last 20 years. If you are interested in any of this, you can click on the tabs above.

One of the things I enjoy designing are one-of-a-kind quilts. Some of them are for my own use and some are patterns for other quilters.
My patterns are not quick and easy one-day projects. They take time and effort and thought. But, when you are finished, I assure you the results will please you and make you proud.
Most of my patterns are paper pieced, because I need the precision pf paper piecing for competition. Also, there are so many of my designs that could never be made with traditional cut and piece.
I also do some "applique construction" that works well for me. but I have been known to strip piece where I could. I'm always looking for a better, easier way to do something. Tim Gunn is right--"Whatever Works".
